Tuesday we launched the Photon on Indiegogo
It’s our first glow in the dark stealth ebike
(Yes- you can get it in non-glow colors too)
It’s also our first stealth ebike with gears -
Perfect for ripping up steep hills
Today I swapped my Blade 2 (LOVE) for a Photon
I’ll get some speed/range tests made to share with you soon
Because we just started the campaign -

Wobble Balance Board
A couple weeks ago you heard about my new love for walking desk treadmills
I tell my building manager about them and he says ‘hold my beer’
“You don’t need a treadmill - try this”
He says, handing me this UFO shaped board
I hop on and perch on top of it, quietly balancing as I finish work
It’s a little challenging at first, but surprisingly not at all distracting
The next day my calves and legs are sore in all the right places…
I’ve been on this board ever since and it’s been game changing
Between balancing sessions I love to just tilt it
Heel down, toe up with one leg - it’s like using a slant board
And really stretches out the hamstring
After 10 years in this business I’ve had A LOT of time in front of a computer
That’s tough to get away from…
What killed me is seeing my body gradually adapt to a seated position
Aches and pains built up and accumulated through the days…
But with a few tweaks, you can turn detrimental work habits into positive ones
Get some fitness in, improve your balance and even your flexibility
All while getting the same quality work done
I’d argue my work quality has gone up, now that I know it’s not hurting my health

Summer’s finally poking it’s head out

After a beautiful 8 mile ride in to work I love to get some good food in me
Try this smoothie out - it’s super easy to make and packed full of good stuff

- 1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
- 1 Cup Greek Yogurt
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 Cup raw Spinach
- 1 Cup Coconut Milk
This thing is so delicious it’s hard to believe it’s good for you
The recipe above clocks in at about 400 calories with 40g protein, 10g fat and 35g carbs.
You can tweak it however you liked based on your tastes and goals
I like to add natural peanut butter to get some more calories in after workouts
The best part is you can sip this while you work
Skip a lunch break and get outside that much earlier!
