Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions

This Limited Warranty ("Warranty") is issued by Superhuman Bikes, and applies to the products listed below purchased in the U.S. on or after January 26th, 2024 (the "Products"). For all purchases made before January 26th, 2024, please refer to the prior warranty terms and conditions here. This Warranty is provided at no extra charge and is in addition to and separate from your legal rights as a purchaser, which may vary state in the United States. This Warranty does not affect these rights.

Before your first ride, please read the manual(s) provided with each Product. They contain important safety information and details about assembly, use, and maintenance. Superhuman Bikes recommends recording the serial number of your bike in a safe place upon receipt.

As explained below, Superhuman Bikes warrants the Products for a limited time from the date of the original retail purchase against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Superhuman Bikes' published guidelines.


If you are the original retail purchaser of the Products, the following applies:

  • Superhuman (or FLX) - branded frames:
    • Warranty Period: 5 years from the date of the original retail purchase or 5000 miles, whichever occurs first.
    • Paint and graphics are not included in this definition.

Superhuman Bikes is pleased to offer a 5-year replacement warranty for the original retail purchaser on our bicycle frames. This warranty specifically covers the replacement frame only, and does not include any labor charges associated with changing over parts to the replacement frame.

In the event of replacing a frame under this 5-year warranty, Superhuman Bikes reserves the right to utilize refurbished or scratch and dent stock. If the original frame styles and/or colors are not available in stock, Superhuman Bikes may replace them with a compatible style and/or color at our discretion.

Exclusions from this Frame warranty include, but are not limited to:

  • Corrosion
  • Paint fade, scratches, impact marks
  • Impact damage
  • Non-reversible modification (such as drilling or welding)
  • Chain guard mount issues if applicable

Each customer is limited to one frame replacement during the 5-year warranty period. Our commitment is to provide you with reliable and durable products, ensuring your biking experience with Superhuman Bikes exceeds expectations.

Lithium batteries equipped on Superhuman (or FLX) Bikes:

  • Warranty Period: 2 years from the date of the original retail purchase or up to 500 charging cycles, whichever occurs first

 

  • Non-Battery Electronic Components on Superhuman (or FLX) Bikes:
    • Warranty Period: 2 years from the date of the original retail purchase.
    • Excluding the battery, this includes Controller (ESC), Display, Motor, Wiring, Lights or any other electronic component shipped as standard equipment on your bike. 

 

  • Superhuman branded accessories and items not otherwise specifically covered:
    • Warranty Period: 1 year from the date of the original retail purchase.

If you are a subsequent owner (second or later owner), or have purchased a factory certified, refurbished or open box bike, the following applies:

 

    • Superhuman (or FLX) - branded frames and framesets:
      • Warranty Period: 1 year from the date of the original retail purchase.
      • Paint and graphics are not included in this definition.

 

    • Battery and other Electronic Components on Superhuman (or FLX) Bikes:
      • Warranty Period: 1 year from the date of the original retail purchase.
      • This includes Lithium Battery, Controller (ESC), Display, Motor, Wiring, Lights or any other electronic component shipped as standard equipment on your bike. 

 

    • Superhuman branded accessories and items not otherwise specifically covered:
      • Warranty Period: 1 year from the date of the original retail purchase.

THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS ON SUPERHUMAN-BRANDED BICYCLES

There may be an applicable warranty from the third-party manufacturer for non-Superhuman components. For Warranty information for third-party components, please visit the manufacturer’s website for more information on these products. Third-party components are not covered by this Warranty.

SUBSEQUENT OWNER CONDITIONS

  • The warranty period is always calculated from the date of the original retail purchase.
  • Proof of purchase should be obtained from the original owner or the Authorized Superhuman Bikes Retailer who sold the Product.

WARRANTY LABOR

  • You will not be charged for labor incurred in the processing of Warranty for one year from the original retail purchase date.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

To take advantage of this Warranty, a dated proof of original retail purchase must be presented to Superhuman Bikes. Proof of original retail purchase is needed whether you are the original retail purchaser or subsequent owner. In all events, Superhuman Bikes reserves the right to limit warranty service to the country where the Product was purchased. During the duration of the Warranty, Superhuman Bikes will either repair the Product or, at Superhuman Bikes’ option, replace it with the same or most similar Product then available.

UNCOVERED ITEMS

This Warranty is void under certain circumstances and does not apply to damage caused by:

  • Improper assembly or installation.
  • Crash, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use.
  • Corrosion.
  • Improper alteration or installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the Product.
  • Failure to perform maintenance or service at appropriate intervals in accordance with the written instructions provided with the Product.

WEAR AND TEAR

Wear and tear items are not covered by this Warranty. The following is a non-exhaustive list of typical wear and tear items not covered:

  • Bearings
  • Brake Pads
  • Chains
  • Free Hub Bodies
  • Handlebar Grips
  • Rubber moving parts
  • Shifter, brake cables and casings
  • Spokes
  • Sprockets
  • Stripped threads/bolts
  • Tools
  • Transmission gears

WARRANTY PROCESS INITIATION

The first step is to contact customer experience or an Authorized Superhuman Bikes Retailer, depending on where the original purchase occurred. Your retailer or representative will inspect the Product and contact you for next steps.

SHIPPING DAMAGE COVERAGE

Damage to a Product during shipping is not covered by this Warranty. Superhuman Bikes agrees to replace such damaged products if you:

  • Notify Superhuman Bikes of damage to a Product in the shipping process within thirty (30) days of the date of your receipt of the Product.
  • Promptly provide Superhuman Bikes with dated pictures and/or a video of the damaged Product.
  • Return all original packaging and paperwork included with the Product.
  • Inspect the Product immediately upon receipt of the Product.
  • Note in clear detail any immediately recognizable damage to the Product on the shipper’s Bill of Lading prior to signing off on the shipment of the Product.

If you choose to set up your own independent shipping method, such as the use of a freight forwarder or other similar service, Superhuman Bikes will not be responsible for the replacement of any Products damaged during such shipping method.

DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
THIS IS A FULL AND COMPLETE STATEMENT OF SUPERHUMAN BIKES’ WARRANTY FOR THE PRODUCT. NO OTHER REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND BY ANYONE SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY REGARDING THE PRODUCT. SUPERHUMAN BIKES’ LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW BE NO GREATER THAN THE AMOUNT OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL SUPERHUMAN BIKES BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES. THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT EXCLUDE LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY SUPERHUMAN BIKES’ NEGLIGENCE.
TO THE EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, SUPERHUMAN BIKES HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE FOR THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some states, provinces, or countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply. If it is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction that a certain provision of this Warranty does not apply, all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
