First off, I’ll start by saying the Customer Service at FLX is TOP notch!! I’ve had two sets of fenders break (at the bracket), and they replaced both with new fenders. The second one they actually said broke due to “normal wear and tear” so wasn’t covered by the extended warranty, BUT, as a courtesy, they sent me a new set of fenders!!
I’m super thankful for that. I like having OEM parts on my BM as much as possible, so I like that the fenders were designed for the bike. And getting a new second set was perfect! I really appreciate that courtesy.
That said, I’ve had my BabyMaker for about 10 months when the second rear fender snapped, and I only ride on asphalt, city roads and paths—not off road bumpy stuff, so it seems like that bracket is fairly fragile. I’ve reinforced this new replacement set with gaffers tape around that bracket hoping to keep is from snapping as soon as the previous two have.
That’s my only negative feedback. But more than that minor snit, I’m really impressed with FLX’s commitment to keeping their customers happy and on the road enjoying their BabyMakers!
