This Extended Warranty ("Warranty") is issued by Superhuman Bikes, and applies to the products listed in the Superhuman Shield: Total Protection Terms and Conditions purchased in the U.S. on or after October 1st, 2024 (the "Products") with a current and active warranty subscription or one-time warranty purchase.

This Warranty is provided at an extra charge and is in addition to and separate from your legal rights as a purchaser, which may vary state in the United States. This Warranty does not affect these rights.

Welcome to Superhuman Shield: Total Protection ("the Service"). By purchasing or enrolling in the Superhuman Shield program, you agree to the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). Please review these Terms carefully, as they outline the key features, fees, and responsibilities related to your protection plan.


1. Overview of the Service

Superhuman Shield: Total Protection is an optional protection package designed to offer extended warranties, accidental damage protection, battery replacement guarantees, and other benefits for your Superhuman Bike. This Service provides enhanced coverage beyond the standard warranty and aims to give customers peace of mind for the long term.

2. Features

a. Extended Warranty

    • Coverage Options: You may select a 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year extended warranty.
      • This warranty covers the frame, electrical components, motors, and batteries.
      • The extended warranty does not cover wear and tear on consumables like chains, cassettes, belts, brake pads, etc.

b. Battery Replacement Guarantee

    • Offer: One free battery replacement is available during the coverage period, with the following conditions:
      • You must return the original battery.
      • A fee of 20% of the battery’s original cost applies for processing.

c. Free Shipping on Future Orders

    • Offer: Free shipping is available for all accessories or parts ordered after the initial purchase of the bike.

d. Accidental Damage Protection (Fees Apply)

    • Coverage: Provides protection for accidental damage resulting from crashes, drops, or other incidents that are not covered under the standard warranty.
    • Fees: A fee applies for this protection, and details will be provided at the time of enrollment.

e. Guaranteed Bike Replacement (Fees Apply)

    • Offer: Customers may replace their bike during the coverage period for any reason.
    • Fees: A replacement fee of 25% of the bike’s original cost plus one-way shipping applies.

3. Enrollment and Program Costs

Customers can enroll in the Superhuman Shield program at the time of purchase or within [insert period] of purchasing a Superhuman Bike.

b. Additional Fees

    • Bike Replacement Fee: 25% of the bike’s original cost, plus one-way shipping.
    • Battery Replacement Fee: 25% of the battery’s original cost, plus one-way shipping.

4. Coverage and Exclusions

Superhuman Shield: Total Protection provides coverage for the listed features; however, it does not cover:

  • General wear and tear of consumables such as tires, chains, brake pads, and belts.
  • Damages caused by misuse, neglect, or modifications to the bike.
  • Any additional repairs or services not explicitly listed under the extended warranty or accidental damage protection.
  • damage from stunt riding, ramp jumping, acrobatics, competitive events, such as bicycle racing, bicycle motocross racing, or similar activities or any activity that is not consistent with the intended use of the product
  • damages resulting from improper charging of the battery pack or use of any charger not supplied by Superhuman
  • installation of any parts, accessories, or electrical component(s) not originally intended for or compatible with the product as sold, or any modification of the frame or any component(s) originally supplied; tires, brake pads, chains, lights, motors, battery packs, displays, or vehicle controllers that have been opened for any purpose whatsoever, other than by Superhuman
  • All warranties are void if the product is used for any purpose other than the reasonable intended use of the product. Additionally, this warranty does not cover damage associated with commercial use.
  • Aftermarket components or modifications
  • All implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to that of the express warranties stated above.

5. Claims and Replacement Process

To make a claim under the Superhuman Shield program, follow these steps:

    1. Submit a Claim: Contact our customer support team at support@superhumanbikes.com to report the issue.
    2. Inspection: A representative may request photos, proof of damage, or further information.
    3. Repair or Replacement: Based on your coverage, we will either repair or replace the damaged components or bike.
    4. Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for one-way shipping when a replacement is processed under the Guaranteed Bike Replacement or Battery Replacement programs.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

    • Cancellation: You may cancel your Superhuman Shield protection plan at any time by contacting customer service. However, any fees paid for the coverage period are non-refundable, and the benefits will be terminated immediately.
    • Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued for partial or unused coverage periods.

7. Program Modifications

We reserve the right to modify the features, coverage, and costs associated with Superhuman Shield at any time. Any changes will be communicated to current subscribers via email or other appropriate means and will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle or subscription period.

8. Customer Responsibilities

By enrolling in the Superhuman Shield program, you agree to:

  • Use the bike according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Maintain your bike properly to ensure that normal wear and tear does not cause damage.
  • Notify us promptly of any issues requiring a claim under this program.

Proof of purchase must be provided. To qualify for warranty services, a Warranty Product Return Authorization Number (“WPRAN”) must be obtained by the original purchaser from Superhuman. The original Purchaser must contact a Superhuman representative to discuss the problem with the product and to obtain a WPRAN. Upon issuance of a WPRAN, the product component(s) must be returned to Superhuman. If Superhuman bikes determines a warranty claim is valid and conforms with this warranty, Superhuman will replace component(s).

9. Limitation of Liability

Superhuman Shield: Total Protection is intended to provide additional security and peace of mind. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Superhuman Shield and its affiliates are not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Damages resulting from your failure to comply with the terms of the program.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in the courts of California.
